Empower Future Nurses as Our Lead Educator!

Position Summary:
Pratique Health Care Training, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Lead Nurse Educator to instruct and oversee our State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) and Medication Aide training programs. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and helping adult learners launch successful careers in health care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in classroom, skills lab, and clinical settings
Ensure curriculum meets Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) standards
Supervise and evaluate students’ clinical performance and skill competencies
Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and evaluation tools
Coordinate clinical schedules with partner long-term care facilities
Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and grade documentation
Participate in curriculum development, program assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
Serve as a mentor and role model for students entering the health care field

Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in long-term care
Experience teaching or mentoring adult learners preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
CPR certification required (or must be obtained)
