Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will help patients improve their mobility and manage pain through tailored treatment plans. You will play a critical role in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and promoting overall physical wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
• • Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop therapy goals.
• Guide patients through exercises and manual therapy to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disability.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families on ongoing exercise routines and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, nurses, occupational therapists).
• Document patient care services and maintain accurate medical records.
• Use equipment and technologies appropriately to support rehabilitation programs.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment during therapy sessions.
• Stay current with best practices, techniques, and technologies in physical therapy.
Qualification:
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred or required depending on employer)
• Proven experience as a Physical Therapist or in a similar role (new grads may be accepted for entry-level positions)
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, treatment methods, and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach to care
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
