About the Role

Are you ready to take your nursing career to the next level? We’re seeking a dedicated Stepdown Registered Nurse (Cardiac focus) to join our team in Lawton, OK. This role is perfect for RNs who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and want to make a meaningful impact on patients recovering from complex cardiac and medical conditions.

As a Stepdown RN, you’ll provide specialized care for patients including:

Cardiac patients: STEMI, NSTEMI, CP rule out, post-CABG, post-thoracotomy, post-peripheral vascular surgery/procedure

Critical cases: respiratory failure requiring BIPAP/Airvo, CHF, sepsis, dysrhythmias, and blood pressures needing IV intervention/monitoring

Cardiac cath recovery: including arterial sheath management

You’ll collaborate with a strong multidisciplinary team and use your expertise to deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.

Schedule & Requirements

Shift: Days | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (12-hour shifts; 0545–1800)

Weekends: Rotation required

What We’re Looking For

✅ Authorized to practice as an RN in Oklahoma
✅ At least 6 months of Stepdown experience
✅ BLS certification (required)
✅ NIH Certification (required or willing to obtain)
⭐ BSN preferred
