The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation of patient’s physical condition and needs, and the design and implementation of a corrective treatment plan according to the principles and practice of physical therapy. This includes continuous assessment of the patient’s progress and modifi cation of the plan and goals as necessary, collaborative consultation with other health care professionals and maintenance of accurate and timely medical and business records. The physical therapist has supervisory responsibilities over the clinical activities of P.T. assistant and at least one affi liating student per year. Participation in departmental quality improvement activities, community outreach and program development is also required.

Graduate of accredited P.T. program - Preferred.
Previous experience in acute care - Preferred. (entry level is acceptable)
State of Vermont license - Required (temporary license acceptable on entry)
CPR certification - Required
At least 2 recent supervisory references - Required
