Overview:
UCVH is seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department team. Our mission is to provide rapid, high-quality care to stabilize, treat, and safely discharge patients whenever possible. For cases requiring specialized services, we coordinate urgent transfers with local hospitals and utilize DHART and LifeFlight of Maine for helicopter trauma transport, ensuring critically ill or injured patients receive timely care.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, assessment, and stabilization of emergent cases.

Administer treatments and medications according to protocols and physician orders.

Collaborate with ED providers, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Utilize TeleEmergency, Telepsych, and Teleneonatal services as needed.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with hospital standards.

Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control and emergency protocols.

Participate in trauma care, emergency response, and other critical interventions.
Pay :
Total Weekly Pay: $2,860
$45/hr (W2)
$1,240 weekly stipend
