The ICU RN provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced medical interventions. This role involves assessing patient conditions, implementing evidence-based treatments, managing complex medical equipment, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state/jurisdiction].
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred but not required.
Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
