Job Description
Summary:
We are hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment on the mid-shift (3:00 PM – 1:00 AM). This acute care hospital role requires rotational on-call and floating between CT and X-ray. One year of experience is required, but first-time travelers are welcome. Candidates must be fully certified, including ARRT Advanced and Fluoroscopy Permit.

Responsibilities:

Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols

Operate CT scanner and imaging equipment safely and effectively

Float between CT and X-Ray units based on facility needs

Administer contrast materials as required

Maintain accurate records and charting in Meditech

Participate in rotational on-call shifts

Ensure radiation safety and infection control measures are followed

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care

Key Requirements:

Must be willing to float between CT and X-ray

Rotational on-call required

Facility may call off once per 2-week pay period

Scrub color: Any color

Qualifications
Education:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of recent CT/X-ray experience required

First-time travelers accepted

License:

ARRT certification (Radiography and Advanced CT)

California Fluoroscopy Permit

BLS (AHA)

Skills:

Competency in CT and general radiography

Ability to operate Meditech charting system (preferred)

Excellent time management and communication skills

Strong commitment to patient safety and quality imaging

Experience:
Minimum 1 year of recent CT/X-ray experience required

License:
ARRT certification (Radiography and Advanced CT)
California Fluoroscopy Permit
BLS (AHA)
